The Meaning of Home

One day, I was at school. Hi, by the way, my name is Billy Bob and I have a sister named Bella Bob. We come from a great home. One day at our school, there was a kid who wasn't feeling good at home, so I went to him at recess. He was actually a pretty nice kid, but I didn’t know his name. I could feel that maybe we would be friends. When I talked to my classmates about it, they said the new boy didn’t talk too much, but they all said he was a pretty nice person. A few days later, once I :was finished my homework, I asked my mom if I could message him. She said, “ok.” When I did, he asked if we could hang out the next day. My mom said yes, so after school we walked to the park and played. He told me his name was Liam. We went to his house for a snack and then dinner. Eventually, he showed me around. Although his house looked fantastic, it felt kind of cold. He and I went to his room to talk. I asked him why he does not feel comfortable at home. He said that he doesn't feel at home. He said because his family was very strict and bossy he had never had a friend! Now with me on his side he felt the true meaning of home.
