What Home Means to me

To me, home means warmth and happiness. It makes me feel loved, protected and special. Home makes me feel these ways because of the people. It also makes me feel these because of the structure, and the rooms filled with happy and sad memories. There's the living room, where I've experienced such amazing memories with my family and friends. Home is like a pet, when you're away from your pet, you miss it, it doesn't matter how big or small your pet is; all that matters is that you feel happy and safe. Home is somewhere where you should never feel judged, you should be able to be who you are. your home doesn't have to be a house, your home can be a country. It can be a feeling. It doesn't even have to be your own home. It can be your friend's house or a family's house. Anywhere can be home, as long as you feel safe. Home is where you can make happy memories and sad memories, Even when you don't think your making memories, you could be making so many memories just by looking around in your bedroom. A house and a home are not the same thing, To me, I picture home as a nice cozy fire place on a chilly snowy day, served with a hot chocolate and melted marshmallows. that's what home means to me.
