Home is Safe

When I hear the word home the first thing that I think of is a safe and peaceful place to be. Home is where I am happy to be with my mom and my friends because they care about me. I eat delicious bannock with peanut butter and jam. My mom gives me healthy snacks because she loves me and wants me to be strong. I wear facemasks with my sister, and we watch movies in my bedroom. I have sleepovers with my friends, and we stay up late dancing, singing, and having pillow fights. My friends and I go sledding down the hills and play on the park play structures all winter long. Home is where I am with my mom, where I play with my friends, and where I bring home things from school. Most importantly, home is where I feel loved.
