If home were perfect

If home was perfect you would never have laughter at the dinner table, because there would be no mistakes to correct. If home were perfect, you would have such a lovely bedroom to sleep in, though you would never want to leave your room. If home was perfect then you would never have any chores to do, but you won’t learn responsibility. If home were perfect, you would have a meal served to you exactly when you want it, while you would never learn to make it yourself. If home were perfect, you would always be calling your friends, though you would forget to make time for your family. If home were perfect then you would always be inside, while you will forget to get some fresh air. If home was perfect, you would never have fights with your siblings, but you would never get to know the other half of the story. If home were perfect, you would have your own quiet time, but you would never have somebody to talk to. If home were perfect, you would be watching T.V all the time, though you would miss out in live events. To me, home is much much more. It is not about your fancy living room, It’s not about your 4 story house, It’s about love, and so much safety. In a home you would always feel ok if you burnt the Christmas pie, though as long as you know you are not alone, a home can be anything you choose. A house has a lot of differences then a home. One is the love. I live in a home, not a couple walls and a ceiling.
