Home

To me the Philippines feels like home. There I feel safe around people and I have lots of family and friends who I feel safe with. When I came to Canada I had to leave my beloved pets. I especially miss my dog Drago, he had been with me for 6 years but I had to leave him so I could come to Canada. When I think of the Philippines I think of the food there. I wish I could eat real authentic Filipino food it just doesn’t taste right when Canadians try to make Filipino food. In the Philippines I had a way bigger room then here in Canada. I wish I could sleep on that bed tonight. Home is somewhere we all belong. What does home mean to you? Nothing is more important than home.
