Home

I love it here At home In the summer, the grass grow green In the winter, snow falls fresh and clean In spring, flowers bloom all around And in fall, the leaves drop to the ground Home is on my trampoline, when it’s nice and warm While also in the snow, right after a storm It’s when the rain falls to the sea Pitter patter splash! right onto me Home is when I’m basking in a pool of sunlight Or when I’m watching that blazing ball rise into the sky Home is with my brothers Chatting away with a smile Home is in the light Like stars shining so bright While also in the dark My favourite part Home is up north At my beautiful farm Though it has no animals But us Though we don’t harm Home is the sunset Glowing pink, violet, till blue Home is at dawn In the morning dew Home is a place A space It’s a word Like a bird Home is when the school bell rings DING-A-LING-A-LING “Home time!” And home it brings Home is with my friends Friendship If it breaks, it’ll mend Friends till the end Home is by myself I need me-time and it helps Writing books, reading books Doing art, please no one look In my heart, I am home Where I’m never alone
