What Home Means To Me

My home means where I eat at the table. I create and paint in my room, and sleep. It means drinking water so I won’t be thirsty. Having fun with my friends when they come over and siblings. Where I take responsibility to make sure my baby brother is safe. Where working on school, projects and homework. Self regulate my work, what my mom gives and my tuition. Where I'm more relaxed and calm than any other place. It’s also a place where me and my friends and family have fun on my birthday at my house or at a restaurant. Sometimes my family has movie nights. We watch Punjabi and Hindi movies. A place where I have electricity and where I read books. Sometimes I can smell the delicious chicken paneer. I can also touch the awesome roti that my mom makes. I could even taste the best samosas at the restaurant nearby when my mom bought them. I also hear the popping sound of popcorn that my sister is making in the microwave. The best part is I can see the chocolate cake from my mothers birthday even if we ruin it by taking the chocolate or cookies at the top of the cake. That's what my special home means to me.
