What HOME means to me
My house is in a bay. The sidewalks open up to people as they approach it. It small but big in my heart. Houses are important to many, but home is about the feeling and experiences you get inside of your house.
Firstly, in a home, memories are made which are alive forever. One time, my parents and I were watching a movie and my sister asked if she could watch it with us. The movie was great and I could not forget how we were all laughing uncontrollably about what happened during the movie. Afterwards, we went home and spent more time together as a family.
Secondly, I enjoy the life I have because my home gives me life. Home is the people inside of the house and how they make me feel. It is the place where I feel like I can be my best self. Thinking of home reminds me of my sister and her hugs. She takes good care of me such as making my comfort food which is noodles and shrimp, playing snake and ladder and more. My dad bakes us a chocolate fudge cake that is warm and delicious and make silly jokes. My mom, who loved me dearly and did everything she could to make me happiest I can be. I will forever miss her.
Thirdly, my parents teaches me values. I was taught that it is necessary to always tell the truth. It is said that the truth will set you free. I do believe that it will so I try my best do so. Another value is family comes first. It is important we cherish the moments we share with our family. There are many people who may have lost a relative or more, and it is such a painful thing to ever go through, especially if you're young. We should look out for our family members and try to be present in their lives before it is too late.
My home has a deeper meaning than the place where I live. It is who I am when I'm not playing at school with my friends, the place where I build memories, and the reason for who I am today. I love my home. One day I will look back and say I had the best home.
