Home
Home is playing in the snow with my friends. Biking around town in the summer. Walking to school on a chilly fall day. Home can mean a lot of different things, but my home means laughing with my siblings at the dinner table. Jumping on the trampoline with my sister. Swimming on a hot summer day. Hearing the crunch of the cold and crisp snow. The feeling of stepping on the ice with your brand new skates for the first time.
Home is not just a building. It’s your friends. Your family. Your surroundings. Home is a feeling. Home is being loved, accepted, protected and comforted. Home is a word with thousands of different meanings. Love, peace, joy, excitement. Home is a feeling I hope everyone experiences.
