Memories

To me home isn’t just my bed. My cats, my kitchen, my stuffies. All of those are some things. But to me hanging out with Raisielhyn and Sophia makes me feel at home the most. Laughing with them on call, venting to each other. All of that is the best. Another thing is when I come home to my dads on Friday, just to smell the mouth drooling pepper steak. To feel the memories I made at my dads. Eating cake, laughing, reading, playing and sleeping all of those make a home memories. Create a home without memories it would be some concrete wood house. Like pulling into my cabin driveway smelling the fresh cool breeze, going swimming and getting ice cream and having water fights at the beach. Hanging out with my sister at the dock scaring them by jumping off the dock diving underwater for shiny rocks. Eating a twist cone from the beach hut. Smelling the amazing hotdogs from outside. The barbeque chips my dad would share with me. Waking up to smell pancakes, sausages and hash browns. Hearing the lake waves claps the sand as it washes it away. The meaning of home to me is memories, friends and family. I hope Habitat for Humanity can give others the chance to make their own memories in their home.
