What Home Means To Me

Home means a lot to me. Home means happiness, safeness, and comfortableness. My home is welcoming. When I’m home, I feel safe and I feel like I can be myself. Home to me means feeling safe and comfortable. My family makes me feel safe and they take care of me when I’m not feeling well. Home shouldn't be uncomfortable for you. You should feel very safe in your home. Home means being yourself. In my home, no one is judged for who they are. It doesn't matter what colour you are, where you’re from, or anything else. Home is a place to express your emotions and to feel like you can tell anything to anyone. When I’m home I smell food being made through the vents. I can already taste the food just from smelling it. I can hear everyone laughing and I see a smile on everyone's face, and I feel… happy. Home means being able to express yourself and home means to be yourself. At home you shouldn’t feel like you have to hide yourself. That is what home means to me.
