Meaning Of Home

Home is a place where I feel safe and relaxed. Home is a place where you can cuddle with your family on movie nights and eat the whole tub of ice cream and then feel sick the next day. Memories are made of happiness, love and are joyful. In my room my bed is where I sleep and feel safe. My hockey bag is in the middle of the room. I look at it when I am about to go to bed, thinking about the sport I love. Home is a place where there is nothing to judge. The thing is, I sort of have two homes. One home is my real home and my other home is the hockey rink. Happiness doesn't live everywhere - it lies in your house where memories are made. It takes hands to build a house, but it takes a heart to build a home. Home is where your friends knock on your door and are waiting for you to come and play. Home has a collection of what we love. Home is a place to spend the rest of your life. It can be a big house like a mansion or a small house like an apartment. It can be wherever you want it to be. In my house, I have my mom, dad, brother and my cute little pets. That's what I want in my house for the rest of my life. Home is not a place it is a feeling. If light is in your heart, then you will find your way home. Home can be called anything. It is a story of who we love. The people we live for, laugh with, and love. This is what home means to me.
