More Than Just A House

I have moved five times in ten years and every time it happens I find it very hard to get adjusted to everything in the new environment physically and mentally. I have to get used to where the plates, towels , and really everything. When I say mentally, I mean I have to get used to the fact that this is my new home. I find it hard to leave everything behind, my friends, my school, and like I said everything I am used to is gone. I always thought of it as restarting, you're back at the bottom. But there is one thing that I will never leave behind. The thing that makes my house more than just a house makes it a home. And that is my family. I am not sure what I would do without them, they are everything to me. I am very fortunate to have my Mom, Dad, and sister. My granddad's dad had to leave when he was ten and he claims it was never quite the same at home without him.He always felt an empty feeling. That's what the meaning of home means to me and my family. I think Habitat for Humanity is a great organization that helps all families be able to have a home full of bliss, a home that makes it more than just a house, it makes it a home.
