What Home Means to Me And What it Means to My Heart

Home is where you wake up to a delicious smell. Clean clothes, and loving parents who would give their lives to protect you. Home feels peaceful when you decide to take a nap with your cat or when you tell your parents “I love you” and then they respond ‘I love you’ back. Home is when you run and play and yell “hooray” when you score a goal on the soccer net. Home is like your own little kingdom when you think about it. Your mom and dad are king and queen, when you’re the little prince or princess. Maybe you would even step up and rule it once your parents stepped away from the ‘throne’. Home was when we used to laugh, play, and cry. But in the end, we always move on. No matter how close, or how far home is. It’ll always reside in our hearts.
