The Meaning of House and Home

For me, a home does not have 4 walls. It can be anywhere, as long as you feel safe, protected, and loved. For different people, home can be different things. It can be the smell of fresh, buttery popcorn. For others, it's the taste of nice, cold lemonade. For me, it is the pleasant feeling of a really comfortable mattress. Or the smell of dinner while watching TV. It can be so many things, and for other people, it can be different things. For me, a house is an object, but for other people it can be different. A house can be many things. For some people, it is the place they sleep in. For others, it is the place they feel safest, or where they are most comfortable. For me, it is a place to relax and be away from the world. Thanks to Habitat For Humanity, people can have a house, and make it a home.
