A Place To Be

A PLACE TO BE To me, home isn’t a house. A house has a T.V and a couch. The thing is that even though homes have that too, there is so much more to them that you can’t touch or see. A home has a feeling, it's the feeling of comfort and safety. In a home you can be yourself, and if you're not accepted, maybe that isn’t your home. You're probably thinking "what do you mean I live there?” Well, your home doesn't have to be where you live. For example I have two homes. There's my house, and the soccer field. At my house I feel safe and cozy. I feel this way because I know that my family is there with me, and if something happened that they would protect me. When I'm at the soccer field, I can do what I do best, and be confident in myself and my abilities. Home also gives you that feeling when you step inside your house and visualize the moments you had in that room or area. You’ll also realize that your home is the place that holds all of your best memories. Your home is one of the biggest parts of your life and you don’t want to lose it so hang on tight and don’t let go. So now you see that home doesn't have to be the place where you live, it just has to be where you feel safe and comfortable. So that is what home means to me.
