The Meaning of Home

A house is where I live, a home is everything and everyone inside it. My family forms part of my home. My books are in my house but I read them at home. My home has a patio that my family uses to roast marshmallows in the summer. It has a fireplace- my family and I gather around it when it is cold outside. What makes my house my home? My dad Chris, and he is a public accountant. My mom Andrea, and she and she takes care of everything in my house. I have a younger brother named Nick, and we sometimes fight and sometimes we play. My dog, Frida, jumps on my bed to wake me up. My dog is very cuddly and always wants me to play with her. When I am with my family I feel safe, loved, happy, and warm. At home I do many activities like building legos with my family. I like to visit my friends' houses but my home is the best place to be. Houses always come with a price, but home is priceless.
