My House And My Home By Julia When you think of your home what do you see? If you see just a building you are wrong, that's a house! I’ll tell you about what makes a home a home, the people in my home and memories. What makes a home a home? Everyone you ask you get a different answer. Some people say it’s family, security 0r comfort and I completely agree! Nothing makes a house feel like a home more than all of these amazing things! Let’s talk about family. They love and support you! You should never feel threatened when you're with a family member! Comfort is important too! Your home should make you feel safe and cozy! There’s also security. Your home should make you feel safe. Your home should also be in a safe neighborhood. Your home should be 0% hate and 100% love. I hope now you understand what makes a home a home. The people in a house make it a home! It’s simple! Whether you live with your Parents, Sisters, Brothers, pets, friends, Grandparents or other people, they make everyday amazing! Family and friends should love and support you no matter what. Pets also are part of the family. Whether you have a dog or a spider they make your day better. Even if you move halfway across the world it still feels like home if your family, pets or friends are with you. As long as you have family, friends or pets in your house it makes it feel like a home! Memories are so impotent in a home! Memories of family. Memories of friends. All of these happy memories are key to having a home not a house. Homes should mean the world to you! It keeps all of your memories safe for you and it makes sure you never forget. Nobody can take your memories away. “Memory is everything, without it we are blind, we leave the fate of the world to chance” -Albus Dumbledore. This is one of my favourite quotes from Harry Potter And The Half Blood Prince. It means memories are so important. I hope you don’t take your memories for granted. Now I hope you don’t think of your amazing home as just a building. But you think of what I said about what makes a home a home, memories and the people in my home.
