Homes are Important

Having a house and having a home are two different things. A house will protect you from the cold and the rain. But a home will protect you from sadness and pain. Homes are important. Homes aren't perfect. There's going to be arguing and tantrums (especially if you have little siblings like me!) and not everyone is going to be happy all the time. But it's going to be okay because you have a home and you need to remember that. Because homes are important. Sometimes arguing is what makes a home home. Sometimes peace and quiet is what makes your home. But my home… Well my home is full of screaming and crying right up until bedtime and then everythings quiet. And then in the morning it's right back to the hecticness that it was the night before. But honestly, that just makes my home even more homey. I hope that everyone has a home that is perfect for them. Habitat for Humanity is making houses so that people can have homes. And homes are important. Sometimes your family might seem really annoying and you just want to leave. But you have to remember: family makes a home, and not everyone has one so you should be thankful that you do, and I really hope that everyone has a home as good as mine. Because homes are important.
