The Meaning of Home

Home is very different from a house. A home is where you feel safe, warm, respected and loved. NO matter where you are, your home is with the people who love you, and you love them. Everyone deserves their own home. YOU AND ME are lucky to have a home, because many people do not have a home. In your home you have a warm comfy bed to sleep in on cold winter nights or your favorite stuffed toy to sleep with. These are all examples of things that belong in a home. I am from South Africa and everywhere you go you see people who do not own their own home. They live on the streets and might sleep under a bush, even if it's a very cold night. A home for them could be anywhere with the people that love them, and they love back. To me, a home is a safe, warm place with my family and friends. I think everyone should have their own home. Finally, the meaning of home is where you are respected, loved, and cared for. You always belong in your home. THAT IS WHAT THE MEANING OF HOME IS.
