Meaning of Home

Home is so many different things. Home is full of emotions. Home is full of family. Home is a place where I can be me. Home is full of emotions. Home is a place where I am content when I wake up in a place of safety. Home is a place where I am miserable when I have a bad day. Home is a place where I am healed with pleasure from misery caused by bad days. Home is full of family. Home is a place with my amazing, nice, loving parents making me a warm home-cooked meal. Home is a place where me and my awesome, kind, funny sister get along while playing fun and exciting games together. Home is a place where my great family spends time as a whole. Home is a place where I can be me. Home is a place where I can dance hilariously my own way without being judged. Home is a place where I can draw peacefully without rudely being told what to change. Home is a place where I can voice my true opinions, and they will not be ignored, instead they will be considered. Home is everything. Home is emotions. Home is family. Home is me. Home is a place that I am very grateful and thankful for because home is a place that, sadly, not everyone has. Imagine if you didn’t have a place like home. I wouldn’t have a safe space to dance and draw. I wouldn't have a safe space to play with my sister and have a meal with my parents. I wouldn’t have a safe space to be happy and sad. I would be really, really sad if I didn’t have a home. Habitat for Humanity is working to make sure that everyone can have a home full of things like emotions, family, themselves, or some other totally different things.
