My Meaning of Home

Home is not only a roof over my head Home is where my loved one are Where I will always have a place Where I will always belong Home is not somewhere to gloat It is somewhere you can create memories Home means many things to many people Some people still need a roof over their head Habitat for Humanity helps families complete their meaning of home To me home is a home cooked meal Doesn’t have to be fancy just something made with love In my home I see smiles It is a joyful place where you can be yourself When I am at home I hear laughter all around But the way I end the day A nice warm hug is the way A home doesn’t have to be filled with money It just has to be a place you feel safe And most importantly It is a place where your loved ones always are
