Meaning Of Home

Have you ever wondered what differences there are between a house and a home? To me home feels like a loving place where everyone is welcome. But a house feels like an uncomfortable empty structure. I will be describing the differences between a house and a home. A house is a cold empty unwelcoming place that you have no memories in. A house could be empty or have furniture. But a house has no memories. It is just a structure made of walls and a roof. When you enter a house you may feel not welcomed or you may feel uncomfortable. But overtime you can turn a house into a home. You will eventually feel more comfortable and you can call your house a home. You will make memories and the uncomfortable house could become your warm welcoming home. A home to me is a warm and welcoming place. Home is a warm safe place that everyone is welcome in. A home is a place to stay in. But it's not just a place to stay in. In a home you have lots of memories. When you first move into a home it may not be your home. It may feel like just a house. But after you live in a house and make memories over time it will become a home. Not all people have a home. Habitat for humanity helps people build homes to live in. I think that they are doing a really good thing raising money for a good cause.
