The Meaning of Home

What does home mean to me? For me home means safety. When I walk home from school and I smell dinner cooking on the stove I feel like I am at home especially when there is Greek or Lebanese or even Polish food. I know when I am home when I go home my bunny Peter greets me at the door. I know when I am at home when me and my family go to watch a movie and cuddle with warm blankets and hot chocolate. I know when I am at home when my family goes on a road trip and we watch movies and sing songs. I know when I am at home, when my sister or brothers bring me back something, when they go somewhere or when we laugh together. I know when I am at home when me and my mom or dad share great memories together like going on hikes or laughing. I know when I am at home when I go to my grandparents house and watch Elvis movies and have pizza parties and ice cream. I know when I am at home when my best friend and I laugh and smile, watch movies, exchange gifts and talk and talk for hours and finally when she has to leave we always ask for her to stay longer. I know when I am at home when me and my family go to Niagara on the Lake and spend the night and have a tea party since my family works there. That is what home is to me.
