What Home Means to Me

I am a lucky girl because my home is safe and protected because of the hard windows and thick doors that lock. I also feel calm, cozy, and relaxed with my dog, my fuzzy tree blanket, and my family around me. What I hear at home is my Tv shows and my dog barking when he wants to play or when somebody says “no” to him. I also hear my mom and dad talking and music from my radio. “I love you” is one of my favorite things to hear my mom and dad say during day and night. At home, I can taste food my mom and dad make like pizza and delicious hot chocolate. The things I can touch and feel at home are the warmth of the campfire, my cozy fluffy dog, and my tree branch pattern blanket. At home I can smell fresh baked cookies my sister makes. I can also smell the campfires my dad makes and Robbie's pizza. When I'm home, I can see strong and sturdy windows and doors, the people I love and my dog, the tv, tables, chairs, couches and my … PRECIOUS HOME! Now you know why I’m such a lucky girl.
