HOME =HAPPINESS

Home is the place where laughter, joy and peace goes around. Home is a place where I feel safe with my loved ones. Home is a place that I have made lots of fun memories.Home is the place where I can cuddle up on the couch for a family movie night and hear the fresh sound of popping popcorn kernels and the delightful smell of the buttery popcorn that came out of the microwave.To me home is not a building, it is a place where I feel welcome, and a place I can be my true self. My home is made by my family members and my animals, for example, my dog lays with me when I'm laying in my bed to comfort me, and my cats come to snuggle with me when I'm sad. My family members are always there to comfort me no matter what. I know that my family will always love me and that makes me so happy to know. I also have three fish and a hamster that even though they are small I still love them very much and they are so fun to take care of. I am the youngest in my family and even though my family fights and gets into arguments sometimes we always find the way back to our home.My family is my life. The difference between a home and a house, is that a house is just a building that you and your family live in with warmth, water, food, and protection and on the other side a home gives you love, peace, joy, happiness, pets, friends and family I love my house and I love my home and they both have one thing in common and that is that they both not perfect no matter what. What home is home is a place where the most beautiful rainbow is made. It is also the most calming place in the world to me. My home is just like when you're reading in your room and the book is so amazing you can't hear anything around you but peace and quiet. It is also one of the only places that you miss. For example you don't say your house sick , you say you're home sick. I am so thankful for a home like mine and it breaks my heart to know that a lot of people are homeless in all of Canada so I am very grateful for companies like Habitat for Humanity because they have changed so many homeless people's lives.Im not in this contest for the iPad or the pizza party I am in this contest for the 30,000 or 10,000 grant for the closest Habitat for Humanity to me. Home will always be in my heart no matter where I go.
