Home is what we can do for others

What I think of home is a lot more than just a place of safety, a shelter to live in, and a location to grow in and stay healthy. Home can be somewhere in our hearts, and it can mean somewhere that even when I'm not outside. Home is a place where I am not judged; my dreams can also come true here. Whenever I step into my home, joy and laughter begin. Home is where I cuddle on my couch and where I read books. It is also a place where I feel loved; if there weren't love inside of my home, it wouldn't feel like a complete home. Whenever I look around my house, I see smiles on everyone's faces. It protects my whole family. Smelling mouth-watering cinnamon buns where I can play. A place to stay cozy on the white snowing winter nights. It is built with peace and kindness wherever you go. Home's meaning is warmth. If your favorite thing is broken, it doesn’t mean your home is ruined. You have a roof on your head to protect you from bad weather. It doesn’t have to be fancy as long as you have a home; it is a place that feels good to be in. However, some don’t even have a home because they can not afford it. And they have to live on the outside, where they could suffer from cold or hot. That is why we should help them build comfortable homes, which would make them feel much better and happier!
