Meaning of Home
I was born in India and that’s where the journey started.
My parents and I moved to Canada when I was 5.
How I settled in school over here, so new but I always got the comfort of my family. To me home has never really been about the place but it is where my family is.
Our home has always been full of joy, kindness, and honesty. After moving 5 times in the last five years, whether from India to Canada or from Brampton to Kitchener, I have learned that to me home is anywhere I have the love of my parents, my little brother, and my dog Ginger. I can’t tell how much I love them, I guess, I just love them too much.
You know how they say “Where there is family, there is love.”
and “There is no place like home.” This is exactly how I feel.
And that is what home means to me!
