My Home
Over the hill down the
Road that is where my house holds
Cozy and warm as a fire, wrapped
In up your bed
Dreaming about your desires
You might feel happy, ill, or sad
But my home helps you get through
The good and the bad
Even if it is loud as a zoo or quiet as a
Mouse it will always have that
Welcoming touch
It’s hard to sneak up on your family
And friends cause all the house floors go
Creek and crack
When you walk down the stairs
You’ll find a piano that hasn’t been played in awhile
That is my home, that’s where I shall
Stay but when I get older, I might move away
When I do, I will never forget love
And the care I had when I was there
