The Meaning of Home

I think the meaning of home is feeling safe, loved, and cared for. Home should be warm and full of laughter and joyfulness. Families should always be there for each other in any situation. I know that many families are not as lucky as I am. For example, around Christmas time, I feel very grateful that my family can afford presents and yummy meals. In my home it is always a very happy time of the year. Even though I get to experience all of that, I always remind myself that not everyone is as fortunate. I am grateful for a roof over my head, food and water, a family that loves me, heat in the winter and the ability to cool down the house in the summer. This is what home means to me.
