What's a home

A home is a place where you can feel safe and welcome. A place that you can be you and a place that you come to after an exhausting day. A home looks and feels different to everyone one. Some people live in tents and trailers and that is still a home. A home is not walls and a roof it’s a place that you make memories, where you grow, age and play. A home is a big part of your life. I feel bad about people without a home. Everyone deserves a place to eat, to sleep and wash your body too. Without a home no one will feel complete, happy, have good memories and a place to feel safe, loved. It doesn't matter if it is small or large, it's still equal on the inside. I learned to love my house by making memories with my family, taking care of the rooms and making it a home that we can live in. I know I can't help the world, but I can help my area and one day help a homeless person to get their home.
