Home Is Where I Belong
A house is not a home and a home is not a house. A home is where I am most loved. A home is where I can roam. Home to me is a place where I grew up, a place I feel safe, a place I know I belong. Home is where I can develop my feelings. Home is the place where I helped my dad rebuild our basement. Home is the place where I helped my mother cook. Home is the place where my brothers and I have played and made memories. Home is where I play fetch with my dog every day since I learned how to walk. Home is where I ended up getting 12 stitches. Home is where my dad and I grow our garden. Home is the place where we meet new neighbours and together share memories. Home is where I can escape my sorrows. Although my house is full of chaos, it's still the place where I can love each and every one of my family. Home is where my life began. Home is where I know I can be loved day after day. Home is where I can express my emotions without being judged. All those memories are kept away in my home. Home is much more than just four walls and a roof, home is a feeling that only you and your family can experience. No matter how big or small your family may be, I hope that one day everyone will be able to have a home and experience the feeling I have experienced for the past 10 years. I wouldn't trade my home for the world!
