What Home Means To Me

When I’m in my house I know that I’m loved and that I can just be myself. I know that I am loved because I have a family that loves me and takes care of me. My family is the best thing that I could ever ask for. When I’m down or sad my family cheers me up and I know that my family will always be there for me. I know that I’m loved and that I can talk about anything when my family is with me. I know that I can just be myself and that's all they want me to be. How I know that I’m safe in my house When I am in my room I have my own time and that is really nice. When I’m home I know that I am safe in my house. I know that my house is safe because my family is inside the house with me and that makes me feel safe. When I want some alone time I go to my room because that is my space and my family respects me. I trust them because they are my family and we should always trust our family. How I know that my family is going to be there for me I know that my family is always going to be there for me because we are a family and we will always work together. We are always side by side and if someone is feeling sad we will help them out and that is what I think is the meaning of home, always being there for one another. Those are some things that home means to me. I know that when I want to be alone my parents will respect me and when I’m home I can just be myself and that’s all my parents want me to be. I hope that my community will win and that the world will have some toasty warm houses to live in. I wrote this essay because I want to express my feelings and what the word home means to me. It means I can be myself and that I will always be respected. My family is the best thing that I could ever ask for!
