The Meaning of Home

To me the meaning of home is the place where I feel safe, relaxed, and comfortable. It’s the place where I can be myself. Home is the place where my family and pets are. Home is the place I want to be when I am not feeling myself. When I first moved into a house it didn’t feel like home. It felt like everything was empty. The house was silent. I had to adjust to everything that was happening. It just felt like walls and a roof. But the more I adjusted to everything the more it felt like home. It took me a few weeks to get comfortable and relaxed in my new home. But I eventually got used to it. Now my home has everything that I love. Sisters, brothers, pets, parents, grandparents. Those are all special things to me. I hope that everyone will get the experience with a home and not feel alone. Home is your safe place. Everyone deserves a home, not just the ones that don’t have enough money to afford one. You should be able to at least have that feeling where you feel safe and comfortable. You don’t need those fancy, giant, rich houses. You just need a house that makes you feel at home.
