What Home Means To Me

A place you can feel comfortable, safe, and have lots of family members that love you is home. In a home you could feel comfortable by hugging anything, anyone, or laying down in your own bed, and you can feel safe by being near your family or stuffies. A place you can feel comfortable is home because you could have your own bed and room unless you share it with a sibling. You might also have a special stuffy that you squeeze when you are feeling sad or a special pillow that you scream in when you are sad. When you are sad you might also hug a family member or even a friend. Family can be anywhere, you just have to feel loved. Family can be friends or even people you have known for a while. You might have a family that lives in a shelter or in a different country but they are still your family. If you don’t have a family, you definitely have friends, you might not know, but everyone has friends. A place you can feel safe is home because when you are in a shelter, you might not feel that safe and plus you are with some people you don’t know, and in a home you are with people you know and you might feel more safe because you are in your own home. You can feel safe when you are with your family or friends or even teachers and coaches. A home is a place you live in. To me a home has comfort, your own stuff, and everything you need to stay alive or feel comfy, like a bed, food, water, washroom, and much more.
