What Does Home Mean To Me

To me home means a lot of things like family, feelings, memories, holidays, and much, much more. Everyone deserves a home full of love and joy. You would never think that a word so small could mean something so big. My family makes me feel safe, warm, happy, comfortable and stable. Home is freedom to me. At home I can be myself. My family does not judge me and they accept me for who I am. Even on the bad days. Home also means memories. I have so many great memories at home. Like playing in the pool, and reading stories to each other, playing card or board games and laughing. There are so many things at home that fill my heart with joy but the people in the home bring me the most joy. To me, home is the memories of the holidays. My favorite holiday is Christmas. I love it when my mom bakes pies and other goodies. I sometimes help her bake. I love all the holidays at home, especially when I get to decorate with my family for Easter, Valentine’s Day, Halloween and Christmas. To me, home is everything.
