Home

What does home mean to you? It could mean family or pets but, to me, home means safety. Home means laughter. It doesn't matter where your home is. It could be in Canada or in California. This is what home means to me. Home is a moving place. It may not always be where you want it to be. Home to me is not a location, it is where loved ones stay. I know that I can always go back to my home, no matter where it is. Sometimes home is not a location, but more of a feeling. A feeling of safety, joy, and hopefulness. My home doesn’t have to be modern, white, or expensive. It just has to be there for me and my family to laugh and make memories that will last a lifetime. It has to be a safe place where we can cook and clean. Rooms where we can have privacy and time to ourselves. My room has memories that I will remember and pass on to my kids that will make them feel warm and happy. Sometimes, it feels like my home is gone but I know that it will always be there. I don’t know if my home will be in Canada, or California. All I need to know is that it will always be there for me and my family.
