What home means to me

Home to me is a place full of glee, When I am inside a wave of safety is around me, When I hear my family my heart fills with joy. Then we played a family card game and my brother won and he shouted hooray. Now it is time to get ready for bed so then we can have the fun days ahead. I wake up in the morning after a nice cozy sleep, Then I go to the pantry for cereal to eat. After I get ready for school and off I go to meet my awesome teacher and friends. Home may move to a different place but it is still home. Home is where I learned to talk, walk, play and have fun, Your home does not need to be big to build a community, A home is not just a 4 walls and roof it is many other things, Like memories and happiness and many more. I have this thought that keeps haunting me and I think you should know, It’s the thought of not having a home. That is the reason I wrote this poem to help someone in need so they can have it better.
