I Am From

I am from my stuffed penguin. From my cat Yoda and my grey computer. I am from the 3 bedrooms and 5 TVs. I am from the fresh strawberries and tomatoes that sprout in the summer and die in the winter. I am from the presents on Christmas and Christmas eve and the welcoming check from my great grandma each Christmas. From electronics, and Lego, and from so many toys in my room I don’t know if I can have more. I’m from “time to save and quit” and “Clean your room” I’m from going to my grandma’s house for special dinners. I’m from -40°C to 40°C and Canada and pizza. From when my mom rode a bus to school she got there about 28 minutes early, but they allowed kids in half an hour before the school started then locked the doors until school began. I’m from Winnipeg, Manitoba. This is where I’m from.
