The Meaning of Home

I know I am fortunate to have a place to call home, A place that I can go to, so I do not have to roam. I know not everyone is as lucky as me, So, I chose to write this poem to help build safe homes in my community. Everyone should have a place to call their own. A place tor refresh, reflect, and relax. A place where the love is always at its max!!! In my house, I play soccer with my dad downstairs. Our games get out of hand, and my mom does not know about all the wall repairs. Sometimes together we watch movies. The movies can be really groovy. We all like to play monopoly, but my mom plays sloppily. I like to play with my dogs in my backyard. The gate is like a guard. When we play fetch, they will not bring the ball back. Then they all get a snack. I have a sister named Maddy. She helps me with my homework, she likes to do swimming and artwork. She loves books. And I love it when she cooks. Everyone deserves a home like mine!
