A Place to Call Home

We all hear the word home. It is a safe place for families to stay in and to feel happy. But, deep down what truly is a home? Well, to me, home is a place that your family or relatives stay in with you. It is usually a place you feel protected and out of harm. Your family is there for you to help cheer you up and are right by your side. It is a place where you can calm down and get rejuvenated. The environment of a home is welcoming and you feel that protective bubble all around you. You feel happy to be with your loved ones and can get cheered up if you are having a bad day. A home is different for every person. They might live in a house but not feel like they are home. People may have disabilities that they are trying to fight and sometimes it can be hard to call a place home. Luckily anywhere can be home if you are with ones you love. Thanks to Home for Humanity over 4,000 families have been given that place to call home. We should all be thankful for all of the organizations who give families a home. Home can mean so many things and what I stated is only a few of what home means to me. I hope you all are thankful for having that place to call home.
