Everyone Deserves a Home

In my opinion everyone deserves a home. Do you think this way? I do. Here are three reasons why. First, everyone deserves a home because they don’t have to move a lot from one place to another. This is a big impact on kids and adults, moving. Moving can be hard, especially if you’re new to a school or job. In my class we read an article about two ladies named Melody and Charmaine. They have two boys that have an illness that can get treated monthly, but they must go from Alberta to Ontario. (They must travel 2,113 kilometers!) Here is one thing I want people to say when they get a house from Habitat for Humanity: “This is my home and this my school.” Another reason everyone deserves a home because if the people moving have kids, they are going to want real friends. Their kids would like to have a friend, so they don’t feel lonely or depressed because they are not cool or popular. They might even turn shy around people who they’re not familiar with. A third reason everyone deserves a home is because they can stop losing more money than they need to. There is one thing adults fear most, going broke. Being broke is the worst. Broke means no money and that means that they can't get health care or essentials like food and clothes. Now you know my three reasons why everyone deserves a home: so that people don’t have to move a lot, so their kids can make friends, and so they don’t go broke. I hope to help someone get a home.
