My Home and What it Means to Me

A home is a place, a place to keep you safe, You get protected from the weather where you get together, Sometimes the weather gets uncontrollable and you get emotional, But you don’t have to worry because you still have your sturdy and worthy house. Home is where I was born, Family taking care of me and teaching me how to walk and have fun. Over the years I have learned a lot, teaching me how to also run. Home is part of my family, Home is nothing else you can have, It is as special as a capable shiny medal. Home is where I sometimes have fights, But always ends up as a bright light. Habitat for Humanity is helping people get protected, That is how people from all over the world are getting heard and helped. Thank you for letting me write poetry. Some people don’t have homes or houses, that’s what homeless is, They need a home to feel loved and protected, They are expected to get a home, but they don’t have the money, That’s why Habitat for Humanity is here to help, They have their specialty for building homes. Be a kid for as long as you can, embrace being young, have fun and be loved, Home is where you find all your hopes and dreams, These are the things you are hoping to accomplish one day, Home will help you find it, being a kind person can earn all kinds of things. Home is a place to keep you protected from ice and snow, Without it, I will be lost in the night and cold from the winters Home is where you live, where you survive, Home is where you stay inside, where you live until you sadly die Microsoft Sway: https://sway.office.com/m9btlYPyFqn1Of4q?ref=Link
