The Meaning of Home to Me

Home, what is home? Home is a place that I can be me, where I rest easy knowing that I will have a roof over my head. And some people aren't as fortunate to have a place to call home, a place to feel safe and warm. So having a home isn't something to brag about, it's something to be thankful for. A home is a safe environment, a place to be warm, loved and to be thankful for. Sure you could be in an environment that feels like home but you choose your home. You choose the place you call home. Home Doesn't always have to be with family, You could have a roommate or be on your own. Home is a place that you choose. A place where your heart is connected, too. In my opinion, my home is with my family, but I can always have two homes. Two places where my heart is connected. It could be an apartment, a house, or a treehouse. I know this! A home is somewhere I can be safe, warm, and myself. That is what home means to me and you can disagree, you can say no, but I truly believe this to be right.
