Home

Home Home can mean many things to different people to me it's not just a building where I sleep and eat, it's a place to make memories and spend time with people you love. For me a home means safety, family and comfort. Firstly When I come home I know it's home because I feel safe with the people around me and a place where I know I can be free and be myself. I know it's home when I come through the door because my dog comes and greets me and is all happy and that makes me feel safe. I have a family that cares for me. It's a place where my brother plays hockey with me and my mom plays games with me and where my dad helps me with my homework. Secondly I know that it’s my home because of my family that lives in the house, when I come home from school my family is always there to greet me and make me feel safe and lucky to have them and knowing that my mom and dad spent all their day working to get money so that my brother and I can have a safe home and good food. A home is a place to make memories with loved ones. Finally, I know it's home because of the comfort that I feel when I step foot in my home. Whether it's homemade food or the warmth of my house, I feel very comfortable. I feel comfortable because of the people that make my house feel comfy like my mom and I watching movies together under a nice warm blanket, my dad and I laughing together and even the smallest things like my brother asking how my day was. This is what home means to me.
