A Home

A Home My home still as I sleep Under the safe roofs peek Not a house no It is a home My home Not a house that I stay Not a place that I play It's a space of the past The memories that last The people in the home So I don't feel alone Wherever we go I know that I’m home In the good in the bad I'm always glad That I have a home But alas behold Some are not as lucky as the stories told Some do not have house or a home They don't have one to call their own Let's start a new chapter Write a new book Everyone’s deserving take a look Young, old, small, tall The people deserving a home is all.
