A House for Mouse

Mouse needed a house. Her friend Ant said "I will help you, Mouse. I will dig you a house." "Thank you, Ant," said a very happy Mouse. Bee saw Mouse and Ant working and asked, "Hey guys! I will help! What can I do? "You can go and grab a candle for Mouse's house," said Ant. "Okay," said Bee. "Thank you, Bee," said Mouse and Ant. "Oh, by the way, I finished digging your house," said Ant. "Oh, thank you Ant! I will make tea, so that when Bee comes back we can all share it," said Mouse. "Hi, I'm back! Did I hear something about tea?" asked Bee. "Yes, you did, Bee. One minute, please," said Mouse. The three of them got their tea and talked about Mouse's house. "OK, so Ant dug my house and Bee got me a candle, so I can have light in my house. What I need now is a deck," said Mouse. An owl named Fowler heard Mouse. "Um, hi. I'm Fowler. I heard you and I will be happy to build you a deck," said the owl. "Oh, OK . . . but you won't eat us?" asked Mouse. "Of course not! I'm a vegetarian," stated Fowler. "Cool! Want some tea?" asked Mouse. "Why, yes! That would be lovely!" exclaimed Fowler. "Thanks, guys!" "Let's build!" said Mouse, excitedly. "Yes!" screamed the friends. One hour later all of Mouse's friends and Mouse were all sitting on the new deck that Fowler built. "You know, I would not have a house if you guys did not help. Thank you," said Mouse. "You're welcome!" The End
