What Home Means To Me

A home is a place where you feel comforted and safe, free from worries, free from hurt. Home is so much more than just a building, home is your family. Home is a feeling, a feeling of joyfulness, happiness, and love. You take your first steps with your family, you say your first words with your family, and most importantly, your family brought you into this world. I have a Mom, a sister, a Dad, and a puppy, they are my whole world, I love them more than anything. They are my home. They bring me joyfulness when they hug me or fall asleep in my lap, they bring me happiness when they go for walks with me and play with me, and they bring me love when they give me a huge hug and a kiss. You don’t need a house to have a home, you can have no house and have a home at the same time, as long as you have a family, because your home is not just a brick building… It is your family.
