What Home Means to Me

Home is a great place for everyone to have and to live in. Even though I can get many houses, there is only one home for me. I spent my whole life in the same home and I wouldn’t change a thing about it. I know that it is just a building, but it has a lot of meaning. I know that when I am at home, I can feel that feeling of being loved and comforted in that one place, but if I were to go to someone else's place, I would never feel that feeling. When I come back from a long or sad day of school, I know that when I come home my dog will be waiting and I get to see him. He comes and kisses me all over my face, my parents give me a loving kiss on my forehead, and my sisters come and hug me with a warm embrace. This is the feeling of home to me. When I am at home, I can feel this feeling that nobody has ever felt. It feels like happiness combined with love, care, and comfort. I feel surrounded with warmth by my loving family. I know that homes can be in different shapes and sizes for everyone and be built differently, but don’t they have the same meaning? In my opinion, I think that homes have the same meaning but they might look different. The best thing about home is that I can be myself. A home is a place where I can have family time and have fun. I feel like a home is not just a place to live or stay, but it has become a part of who I am. I know that when I am at home, I am filled with joy and happiness. I know that when I get older I will eventually find a new home, but I also know that with time I can create that feeling again. Home is a great place for everyone to have and to live in.
