My Home
What is home? Home to me is where you learn, to love, to talk, to walk, to run and have fun. It's not only four walls and a roof, home is where our family is, where we grow up and learn to stretch our wings. It’s not the fancy decorations or objects, it is my family and pets that makes a house feel like a home. It doesn't matter how big or small, home is where memories are made and will always stay.
In my short life, I have had the amazing opportunity to live in more than one home. Moving from house to house, home to home each one will always be known. From Nova Scotia to Ontario, I have lived in many homes, and they have all been special, a place to lay and safely stay.
My home is a supportive environment where I learn to cook and bake homemade special meals. After preparing the meal, our family sits together, to share stories and experiences about our day. Whenever I fall down, my loving friends and family are always there to pick me up and put a smile on my face.
As the days go on, I will stretch my wings and fly away from home. Even though I may not be close, home will always have a special place in my heart. Someday down the road I will build a new home but will never forget the first place I called home.
